Adam, Jan ; Kubík, Roman (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This Bachelor's Thesis introduces drilling technology, construction of clamping for specific component and its examination in terms of technology and economics.First part of Bachelor's Thesis deals with technology of drilling and with instruments for drilling such as drills and reamers. Next is survey of particular types of drilling machines. Second part of this Thesis is about rules for construction of clamping units and their disposal. Analysis of componet for which is clamping unit constructed. Following by construction of drilling gauge, comparing of incidental times with using the gauge and without using the gauge and finally calculation of investment return in to clamping unit.
Technological design of part "hydraulic cylinder"
Cejpek, Petr ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the analysis of technological process of manufacturing of the part called hydraulic cylinder in conditions of company S&K TOOLS spol. s r. o. There is an analysis of the present technological process in the beginning of the thesis. The main goal of this task is to find weak spots of manufacturing, create an improvement proposals and realization of practical experiment in concrete conditions of the company. Last part of the thesis is focused on realization of technical and economical evaluation.
Order tracking for atypical drilling tools
Chuchma, Tomáš ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is aimed at monitoring the phases of contract over a period of time in a chosen engineering company. The contract is atypical and differs from the contracts for usual serial products. The contract is monitored throughout all phases, from its acceptance by a customer until the end phase, namely the delivery of the product to the end client. An analysis of the complexity of the contract and a proposal for improvement are presented.
The Influence of a Screw Drill Core Thickness on a Force Resolution when Drilling.
Klimek, Petr ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The Bachelor's thesis is focused on the practical tests of standard spiral drills with a new geometry CZ 002 and CZ 004. The first part is devoted to a short description of a history and current state of the art and in particular, the analysis of core according to the standard DIN 1414-1. Another part deals with the description of the test loading. The last part of the work is devoted to test the geometric quality and precision of the bored holes.
The development of new axial tools with edges of various cutting materials on defined diameters for the machining of precision and high-precision openings
Dostál, Martin ; Plíšek, Jiří (referee) ; Kouřil, Karel (advisor)
The first part of work provides definition of basic parameters of accuracy, quality of machined surface and accuracy requirements for the holes. Further work includes a description of the reamers and drills according to the technological, material, geometrical and structural aspects. Subsequently is described range of the largest drills and reamers manufacturers, focusing on a combination of different cutting materials. The practical part contains the development of high-precision drill, which takes advantages of combining two following cutting materials hard metal and cermet.
ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF HIGH-PERFORMANCE DRILLING TOOLS BY MEANS OF CAD/CAM AND ANALYSIS OF CHIP FORMATION MECHANISM
Madaj, Martin ; Janáč, Alexander (referee) ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This document deals with the development of drilling tools by means of CAD and CAE technologies. At first, a brief overview of various design procedures of 3D drill models is presented, possibilities of measurement of force and moment loading during drilling are mentioned, a chip formation mechanism is briefly described and then a list of commonly used explicit (mesh) finite element methods used for cutting simulations is presented. A meshless SPH method have been selected for this work. Although it is able to handle the large deformations easily, it has been used for cutting simulations very rarely and only an orthogonal cutting simulations related information can be found in scientific databases. It has been demonstrated on the orthogonal cutting simulation of A2024-T351 alloy that was also the starting point for SPH simulation of drilling. The following is a decription of the design, simulation and prototyping of new drilling tools - drills with three and two cutting edges and an internal chip channel. This document is focused in detail on the variant with two cutting edges for which SPH drilling simulation has also been performed. Some drawbacks related to more precise chip simulation demands have been revealed, especially a rapid increase in number of SPH elements followed with prolongation of a computational time. Information related to the design of the drilling head with two cutting edges were then used to create the patent application.
On the modern technologies of hole production in metal materials
Kříž, Daniel ; Humár, Anton (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation and description of modern methods of holes production. The first part deals with the classification of methods, description of production, achievable technological parameters and production finishing methods. The second is dedicated to description of tools for holes production by different methods. Third part evaluates machines for holes production. In the last part of this thesis the unconventional methods of holes production are described.
Production forming drills and theier use in practice
Narovec, David ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Dvořák, Milan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with forming drills, their production and practical use. The forming technology with focus on the heating of the material for forming is described in the first part of the paper. The second part is focused on general drilling. The drilling technology, drilling process and various drill production techniques are covered. The twist drill is described as well and its basic parameters are mentioned. Twist forming drills are examined in the last part of the paper. Material choosing, technological drill forming process, final drill shape testing for its fading and practical utilization. In conclusion a practical study of cleft drill was performed.
Technology of production combinated cutting tools
Rusz, Radek ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
In the thesis is solved manufacturing technology of step drill from material of cemented carbide. At first is made review of existing shank cutting tool types, after that follows an analysis of cemented carbide tool material. In the next part of thesis is manufacturing technology of this tool, including review of grinding wheels, designed.
